Musical Theater advanced

In this workshop we will dig deep in the mysteries of musical theatre: we’ll focus on acting skills, train our voice and movement with talented acting, singing and dance teachers. The workshop is built around one musical scene that will be performed in the Life-show at the end of the camp. This year the Musical Theatre workshop is advanced level which means that if you want to take part in it, you should have a few years of experience in theatre, singing or dancing (experience in one of the three is enough!).

Michael Fajgel (Germany) will be teaching acting in the Musical Theater workshop. He's a singer, actor and director, who has play in Grease, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair and Evita, just to name a few. musateatteri michael1

Johanna Larsson is educated as a contemporary dancer and dance teacher in the Theatre Academy of Finland and in London Contemporary Dance School. She is trained in Cunningham, ballet, release, improvisation and partner work techniques. Johanna has been working as a freelancer in UK and Finland, and she joined Xaris Finland dance company in 2006. Johanna likes to teach dance for musical theatre students, because the diverse skills, abilities and talents of the students need to become one on stage. This is a challenging process, but most importantly, a lot of fun!
